About the Artist
An hour of beautiful music performed by Alexia Bergman on cello, accompanied by Sarah Murer on the piano. Alexia or Lex as we know her, is our daughter so we are really excited to hear her play again at Sala61.
Alexia and Sarah are both masters graduates from the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where they first started playing together in 2023.
Alexia particularly enjoys working with dancers which led her to collaborate with both Brandon Lawrence Principle Dancer from Zurich Ballet and Choreographer Ruth Jones in conjunction with the Royal Academy of Dance. Sarah has recently been accepted as a Young Artist at the Oxford International Song Festival 24/25 where she will continue to develop her interest in the song repertoire.
