Tapas and Jazz at Sala61

This is going to be our first supper and jazz evening where friends and families can come together on their own table for up to 6 people to enjoy the Happy Cats trio from Palma whilst enjoying delicious tapas prepared by the talented chefs from Tan A Gustito. 

The Happy Cats features the fabulous vocals of Christa Elmer with guitarist Pedro Riestra and saxophonist Nacho Vega. We had the pleasure of seeing them play at the Deia Festival last summer and they were wonderful. So this is a real treat to be able to see and hear them up close and personal in the Sala61 Culture Lounge. 

The fabulous David and Fanny who are Tan A Gustito have created a very special small plate tapas menu for sala61 and this event.  

We welcome you with a glass of chilled cava before you settle down to the sounds of the Happy Cats. To go with your cava and wine, is your first course of a colourful forest of different vegetables with homemade hummus served as a sharing platter on your table.

You will then be served at your table the next three small plates of tapas…  

• Shrimp ceviche ecuadorian style served with plantain banana chips 
• Portobello mushroom carpaccio with parmesan cheese, radish sprouts & flowers with a white truffle oil 
• Black truffle mil hojas of potatoes with parmesan  

Then to round off your gastronomic journey is their renowned chocolate fondant with pear.

Of course you need something to pair with your tapas and so each person will be able to enjoy half a bottle of wine selected for us by our friends from the Wine Industry in Palma.
